We hope that popping into The Kitchen feels something like dropping into a friend’s home. Somewhere you feel comfortable to have a chat while they get on with their cooking, but where they can also sit down and join you. When you open the door to our premises you will immediately see us at work in the shop and studio areas; we want you to feel welcome, to say hi and if you are new to introduce yourself!
We are a family business, now employing several people who feel like extended family. We bake – a lot. From simple cookies to enjoy with a milkshake, to birthday cakes for all occasions, to cupcake towers and bouquets to elaborate tiered wedding cakes, we love baking and decorating cakes.
We also enjoy sharing our love of baking. We run classes for all ages, with something almost every day during the school holidays. We welcome groups but also arrange times when you can come on your own and meet new friends.
Cakes are an important part of most birthday celebrations so why not make cake making a part of yours? We host birthday parties – again for all ages. Demand is great so do book early!
Aside from all this The Kitchen hosts many events for local businesses and community groups. We are part of Link4Growth, hosting a monthly meeting, and also welcome many parents’ groups on a regular basis.
The best way to experience what The Kitchen has to offer is to pop in and see us – we’d love to meet you!
