After a few posts full of challenges and issues here’s one full of Christmas cheer! We are more than a little excited about what’s in store this coming month and can’t wait to share some of this with you.
Starting tomorrow we’re thrilled and privileged to be welcoming the People Not Borders exhibition. Pop in from 2.30pm – 8.30pm, enjoy a drink and find out more about the plight of refugees in a positive and engaging way.
On Friday we welcome Yellow Comedy back to The Kitchen. Always a fabulous and fun night this one is extra special. Join us from 7.30pm, grab a drink and relax – ready for a great laugh!
This weekend please take note we are fully booked after 3pm on Saturday with the first of three Baby Showers in the coming weeks.
Next weekend look out for the chance to enjoy Coffee and Cake with Santa on Sunday lunchtime. We’re just waiting to hear back from him and hoping he’s not too busy making toys and checking his list twice to pop in.
The Dial Up has been a very special part of The Kitchen for many years now. Sadly the next event on December 14 will be the last one for now. We want to make this something extra special so please do join us. There will be cake (of course!), wine, beer and music. Oh yes – there will be music – and maybe even dancing!
December 21 sees the much anticipated Cupcake Decorating Classes. 10.00am and 2.00pm. Spaces strictly limited. Learn how to create six gorgeous cupcakes using our tools and materials. Refreshments included. £25.00 per person.
And on December 22 we’re delighted that Reverend Robert is joining us to lead carol singing at our Christmas Gathering. From 4.00pm this will be a lovely time of singing, cupcake decorating, mulled wine and carols round the tree!
We close early on December 23 at 4pm.
And we reopen on January 4. Yes – you read that right! We’re taking over a week off, the longest break since The Kitchen opened. Mr and Mrs Kitchen are heading for the Lakes for a few days of rest, relaxation, good food and long winter walks!
Watch this space for updates as to how things will look next year. We thank you all for your support and hope that you can join us in the coming weeks!
