For many however, the “numbers” are urging caution, and there is a reluctance to return to normal just yet.
We wanted to offer you some reassurance as we enter this next phase, and let you know how we will be operating from now on…
It goes without saying that we will continue with our enhanced cleaning regime. We have always prided ourselves on our high standards of hygiene but like many businesses we have been sanitising not just tables but all touch points regularly and after every use.
The Perspex screen will remain in front of the counter and we would prefer card payments wherever possible. We will continue to wear face coverings front of house and understand many customers will prefer to do so too.
Hand sanitiser will be available as now – please make use of it when entering The Kitchen. And we’d also like to reassure you that we won’t be packing in more tables, preferring to allow you a little more space.
We would all like to thank you for your patience, and bearing with us as we have navigated the past 16 months. Somehow this doesn’t feel the way we thought it would when we imagined things reopening – the balloons and bunting can wait a little while longer! But it is a step along the way to the “new normal” and for that we can only be grateful.
So please do join us for a drink this week, whether it’s a tea, coffee or soft drink – or something a little stronger. We’re open every day 10am – 5pm except on Sunday when we close at 4pm, and Friday when we stay open until 8pm.
Thank you for reading!
