We realise this will be disappointing for some customers but “never say never” and meanwhile we hope that you will visit us on an alternative day, or in the school holidays when we will be open as we are currently.
The thinking behind the decision – borne out by the research – is that our core business remains celebration cakes. If you follow us on Facebook you will see that every week we produce dozens of spectacular creations. All of these are baked on the premises, the buttercream is freshly made, and the covering and decorations are lovingly made and applied by hand. We deal with the enquiries personally and alongside this of course we bake for the Coffee Shop.
Recently we’ve had to put up “fully booked” signs way more than we ever expected to. We hate to disappoint anyone but we’re turning away work constantly – which is not good for business either of course.
Obtaining our premises licence and holding more events such as Yellow Comedy, The Dial Up and the recent Summer Sizzlers and upcoming Night of Legends will also enable us to make the profit needed to stay open, so do support those performing and holding these events if you can!
