We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time at The Kitchen without worrying about a parking ticket. This information is therefore designed to help you find the best place to leave your car depending on the reason for your visit. Please be aware that parking restrictions are subject to change and this is here to help and advise you only. We strongly recommend you make your own checks before parking as we cannot take responsibility for any parking tickets issued.
Before reading any further please do consider using public transport as an option. The Kitchen is situated opposite Croxley Station on the Metropolitan Line.
Car Parks
These are available at the Metropolitan Line Station (£4.50)
And also at The Red House Pub (£2.00 for up to four hours) a little further along the Watford Road (A412) towards Rickmansworth.
Parking Bays
These are available in Hazelwood Road (to the side of The Kitchen) and on the Watford Road opposite the parade of shops including the Standard Tandoori, Extreme Lengths, Scorpio and Shamma dry cleaners. There are also parking bays in Frankland Road. You can park in these bays for one hour free of charge.
Many of the roads adjoining The Kitchen Croxley are part of a Controlled Parking Zone.
From 31 March 2021 a controlled parking zone operating from 12pm -1pm Monday to Friday, has been introduced in the following roads in Croxley Green:
Beechcroft Avenue, Dickinson Square, Dorrofield Close, Gonville Avenue, Hazelwood Road, New Road (odd numbers from no.83 to no.349, even numbers from no.68 to no.292), The Crescent; and Watford Road (even numbers from no.10 to no.280; odd numbers from no.5 to no.157)
Please be aware that this parking zone is regularly patrolled and if your vehicle is parked from 12pm – 1pm without a permit you are likely to receive a penalty notice. There is an entrance to the controlled parking zone in Hazelwood Road adjacent to The Kitchen and you will not see roadside signs in Beechcroft Avenue (until you exit the zone into Valley Walk)
