Thank you so much to everyone who has sent us messages of support, cards, flowers and offers of help over the past few weeks. We have been overwhelmed and cannot thank you all enough. We want to update you now on what is happening at The Kitchen.
Whilst our lovely little Coffee Shop is closed during the week there are still lots of ways in which you can enjoy a slice of delicious cake from The Kitchen. In fact we are baking more than ever as we take lots more orders for celebration cakes You can place an order online or call us on 01923 805896 to discuss.
The Coffee Shop is still open at weekends – for tea/coffee and cake at the moment (sorry no lunches) and you will find all your favourites plus lots of luscious new bakes including some very innovative and healthier recipes.
All the groups that meet at The Kitchen will continue to do so during this period of closure. So come and join the Kitchen Folk, the Babies Meet Up, Link4Coffee or any other group that you see advertised on our Facebook Page.
Our Free Comedy Nights continue with the next one on December 2 at 7.30pm (for an 8pm start). The Dial Up is also still going strong and will be here for a Christmas Special on Friday December 16. Again at 7.30pm for that 8pm start.
We continue to take bookings for birthday parties, Saturday Morning Kitchen and a huge variety of Christmas Cake Decorating Classes
The decision to close was not taken lightly. It had to be made quickly and we are sorry for the disappointment this has caused. However we can already see that it was the right one as Mr Kitchen recovers from the heart attack that took us all by surprise.
During the school Christmas holidays we will open from 10.00am until 4.00pm during the week (but check opening hours here) There will be Christmas cupcake and biscuit decorating kits on sale so why not pop in with the children and relax with a festive drink whilst they get creative.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported us in the two years since we opened – here’s to a happy and healthy 2017!
